AsiaRestart is an independent guide for people from Europe who want to live in Thailand, Malaysia, the Philippines or Indonesia long term. We compare the official programmes in plain language and in euros, and introduce you only to licensed agents.

Why we exist

Moving to Asia for years is a big step. Yet the official information is spread over many websites, prices are shown in baht, ringgit or dollars, rules change often, and it is hard to tell which agents are actually licensed.

We bring it together in one place: the programmes side by side, the real total cost in euros, every figure linked to its official source, and a personal recommendation for your situation.

Compare Thailand Privilege and MM2H costs and rules in plain language
Show prices in euros, with the official amount next to them
Send you a free personal recommendation by email
Introduce you, only if you want, to one licensed agent
Tell you the agent’s name and licence number before we pass on any details

What we don’t do

We are not a government agency, embassy or the official programme operator
We do not issue memberships, visas or permits
We do not file applications or handle your documents
We never take payments or deposits from you
We do not give legal or tax advice, and nobody can guarantee approval

How we choose agents

Official licence

Thailand: listed on the official Thailand Privilege agent list. Malaysia: a valid licence on the official MOTAC list. We check this before every introduction.

Clear fees in writing

The agent must state its fees to you in writing before you commit. For Thailand Privilege, you pay only the official membership fee.

Safe payments

You pay the official operator or the licensed agent directly, never us. The MM2H deposit goes into your own account at a licensed Malaysian bank.

You decide

You get the agent’s name and licence number first and can check them yourself. There is no obligation at any point.

How we check information

Official sources only

Every price and rule comes from the official programme websites, the Thailand Privilege operator and MOTAC, and is linked so you can check it yourself.

Dated and reviewed

Each price section shows the date of the last check. We review all figures regularly and whenever an official source announces a change.

Corrections

Found something out of date? Write to info@asiarestart.com and we will check and correct it promptly.

How we earn money

Our service is free for you. When a client we introduced takes up an agent’s services, the licensed agent pays us a referral commission.

The commission does not raise your price, and it never decides our recommendation: if a programme does not suit you, we say so, even if that means no commission.
