Terms of use
Last updated: 29 October 2026
- AsiaRestart is an independent information and referral service, not a government agency or programme operator.
- Our service is free for you. Licensed agents pay us a commission, which does not raise your price.
- We give general information and introduce you to licensed agents. Any contract for an application is between you and the agent.
- Approval of any programme is decided only by the official operator and the authorities. Nobody can guarantee it.
1. Scope and provider
These terms apply to the use of the website asiarestart.com and of all services offered on it (“AsiaRestart”, “we”, “us”). AsiaRestart is a brand of AdMax, s. r. o., Továrenská 7938/14, 811 09 Bratislava, Slovakia, Company ID (IČO) 52283224, VAT ID SK2120972843, registered in the Business Register of the Municipal Court Bratislava III, section Sro, insert no. 136102/B. Contact: info@asiarestart.com.
2. What AsiaRestart is and is not
We compare long-stay programmes in Asia, in particular Thailand Privilege and Malaysia My Second Home (MM2H), explain their costs and rules, and, at your request, introduce you to licensed agents.
We are not a government agency, embassy or immigration authority, and not the official operator of Thailand Privilege (Thailand Privilege Card Co., Ltd.) or of the MM2H programme (Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture Malaysia, MOTAC). We are not affiliated with or endorsed by these bodies. We do not issue memberships, visas or permits, do not file applications and do not accept application documents or payments.
We do not provide legal, tax, immigration or financial advice. Our recommendations are general information based on your answers and the official rules.
3. Free for you, and how we earn
All our services are free of charge for you. Licensed agents pay us a referral commission when a client we introduced takes up their services. The commission does not increase the price you pay: for Thailand Privilege you pay the official membership fee, and for MM2H the agent states its own service fee to you in writing before you commit. We tell you which agent we introduce you to before passing on any details.
4. The free check and recommendation
When you complete the free check, we send you a personal recommendation by email, usually within 48 hours. It is based solely on the information you give us. Sending the form does not create any obligation for you and is not an application for any programme.
We introduce you only to agents who, at the time of the introduction, are listed on the official Thailand Privilege agent list or hold a valid MOTAC licence. We check this, but we do not supervise the agents’ work and are not responsible for it.
5. Contracts with agents
If you decide to use an agent’s services, the contract is concluded directly between you and the agent, under the agent’s own terms. We are not a party to that contract and do not act on behalf of the agent or of you. Fees, deposits and refunds are governed solely by the terms of the official operator and the agent.
Whether an application is approved is decided only by the official operator and the competent authorities. Neither we nor any agent can guarantee approval, processing times or that rules stay the same.
6. Accuracy of information
We check prices and rules against the official sources and show the date of the last check. Programme rules and fees can change at any time without notice. Amounts in euros are approximate conversions from the official currency (Thai baht, Malaysian ringgit or US dollars) at the exchange rate on the date shown; the amount actually charged is the one in the official currency. The binding information is always that of the official operator. If you find an error, please tell us and we will correct it promptly.
7. Your obligations
- You must be at least 18 years old to use our services.
- Give true information and use only your own contact details.
- Do not send enquiries on behalf of others without their permission.
- Do not misuse the website, for example with automated mass requests, scraping or attempts to disrupt its operation.
8. Liability
We are liable without limitation for damage caused intentionally or through gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever liability is mandatory by law, in particular under product liability law.
For slight negligence we are liable only if we breach an essential obligation, meaning an obligation whose fulfilment makes the proper use of our service possible in the first place and on which you can regularly rely. In that case our liability is limited to the typical, foreseeable damage.
Otherwise we are not liable, in particular not for decisions of the official operators or authorities, for changes to programme rules, or for the services of agents or other third parties. These limits also apply to our employees and representatives.
9. Intellectual property
Texts, illustrations, the logo and the layout of this website are protected by copyright and belong to us unless stated otherwise. You may view and print them for personal use. Any other use requires our written permission. Names and logos of official programmes belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the website available at all times, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, extend or discontinue our services at any time.
11. Ending use, withdrawal
You can stop using our services at any time without giving reasons and at no cost, for example by telling us by email that you no longer want a recommendation or an introduction. Any statutory right of withdrawal you have as a consumer remains unaffected.
12. Complaints and dispute resolution
If you are not satisfied with our service, please write to info@asiarestart.com. We will reply within 30 days.
If you are a consumer and we reject your complaint or do not reply within 30 days, you may turn to an alternative dispute resolution body. In Slovakia, this is in particular the Slovak Trade Inspection (Slovenská obchodná inšpekcia), Bajkalská 21/A, 827 99 Bratislava, www.soi.sk, or another entity listed by the Ministry of Economy of the Slovak Republic (Act No. 391/2015 Coll.). You can also contact the European Consumer Centre in your country. Your right to go to court remains unaffected.
13. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of the Slovak Republic. If you are a consumer, this choice of law does not deprive you of the protection of the mandatory consumer protection rules of the country where you have your habitual residence (Art. 6(2) Rome I Regulation). As a consumer you can bring proceedings in the courts of your country of residence, and we can only sue you there (Art. 18 Brussels Ia Regulation).
14. Changes and final provisions
We may update these terms for valid reasons, such as changes in the law or in our services. The version published at the time you use our services applies. If any provision is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions remain valid.
